First of all sorry for being so slow in updating - it has been a very busy week or two with uni courseowrks taking up a lot of my time.

And here is the main point of this post - Kelly Clarkson live was phenominal. I was shocked at how brilliant she was. Her voice is amazing and if CV could only have got his hands on one of the programmes then there would be enough pictures to put on his blog that he never had to update his work safe blog totty ever again!

The best song of the evening and best song I have ever heard live was a cover of Annie Lennox's Why. 11,000 packed into the NEC Arena (with only 6,000 tickets sold before the night!) and the crowd was really into every song.

Not updated it for a while so here are a few things:

Chelski 1-1 draw was brilliant for our confidence
As was the 4-0 win over crapboro.

Moore is turning into a real gem and Phillips has still got it.

Steelers are now the world champions despite a poor showing from Big Ben in the Superbowl.

Law text books are expensive.

And shockingly the law of the EU is actually quite interesting!

The 360 has landed

Yup - finally got my hands on an Xbx 360. As you can see on the right of the screen, I am up and running on X-Box Live and currently have Perfect Dark Zero, FIFa RTWC 2006 and Madden 2006 all of which I can give out a decent amount of punishment to opponents worldwide.

I think the 360 is an amazing machine but as expected the games haven't started to take advantage over the huge capabilities of the console.

Fulham scored again almost straigt away through a dubious penalty. Ridgewell equalised.

3-3, maybe we should have taken 3 points but this game was a wierd one and could easily have gone either way so a point was a fair result.

Did I mention Ridgewell scored twice? That's how wierd this game was.

T'm not a fan of pop music and would normally never listen to anything like this but her new song Because of You is actually quite good. Heard it on the radio yesterday and have to say it is the best song I have heard this week.

After getting the game for £20 from Gamestation in Wolvo, I have played it for about an hour and have to say it is a cracker. Unfortunately it is not a very long game apparently but it will be good while it lasts.

Manchester USA that is. Rooney and Van Nistelarse got the two goals that sunk Villa. The 2-0 scoreline did flatter Villa, although Baros hit the bar and Barry came very close to scoring so it could have been a differnt game. Villatalk.cm has reactions/ratings/reports etc.

In other news Everton were hammered 4-0 by Bolton and SHA got a pasting by Man City - 4-1 was the scoreline there.

Well I haven't been back to my blog for a few days (had a lot of coursework to do) but you wil be happy to know that I have now finished my work and so am back with a slightly delayed song of the week.

This week it goes to my favourite band and their new single. Talk is the third single to be released from Coldplay's number 1 selling album X&Y. Whilst it is not quite my favourite song on the album, it's a front runner and reworks Kraftwork's "Computer Love". Talk is on sale from Monday (19th December) and here's hoping it gets to number one.

Bolton 1-1 Villa

El Hadji Diouf's 82nd minute free kick was cancelled out by substitute Juan Pablo Angel's 89th minute goal. Angel got his first of the season to hush his critics and put his poor start to the season behind him.

Villa played 4-5-1 for most of the game before Hendrie was substituted for Juan Pablo Angel with 4 minutes to go. 3 minutes later the Cloumbian netted his first of the season.

Well, I was actually informed after the game that it was not Brazil but West Ham that they lost to. A wonder goal from Zamora and a "controversial" Marlon Harewood goal cancelled out Emile Donkey's opening strike.

Heskey almost levelled matters on 89 minutes but was reminded by the referree that you cannot punch the ball into the goal.

So with our dear rivals joining Sunderland in the championship next year, it seems there is a fight betwennWest Brom and Portsmouth for the final relegation spot.
